Last week Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) had alerted public about five violent inmates escaping from jail, and now search for them has ended.

GBI took to Twitter to inform followers that the five men, aged between 22 and 33, are now in custody.

On Tuesday night, a fugitive task force from the United States Marshals Service and the Warner Robins Police Department's officers had captured the final escapee, read a tweet posted on behalf of the police department.

Latin Times previously reported that the inmates with two being murder suspects, fled from Pulaski County Jail in Hawkinsville, Georgia Friday night. Before they escaped, one jailer was having a conversation with an inmate in a cell, and that's when another inmate attacked the prison guard. The inmates threatened to take the jailer's life, after which they took keys of her car and then attacked another guard on duty. In the attack, none of the guards were physically hurt.

When the men -- Tyree Williams Jr., Brandon Pooler, Dennis Penix Jr., Lewis Wendell Evans III and Tyree Montan Jackson -- escaped, they had two tasers and used a white van to travel.

Jackson was the first to be captured Sunday followed by Evans, who was taken back to custody late Sunday night, reported ABC News. The final escapee was captured Tuesday night, but it is not clear when and where the other two were taken into custody.

During the search for the inmates, a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to their arrests was offered by the US Marshals Service. Though authorities asked for help from the public, they warned people not to take action on their own as the five men were described as extremely dangerous, and they asked people to dial 911 or contact the Pulaski County sheriff’s office.

Evans was accused of obstructing an officer while Jackson was charged in car break-ins. Penix, Jr. was accused of killing two men in a drug deal gone bad that happened four years ago. Pooler was accused of child cruelty. Williams, on the other hand, allegedly shot a man in July last year, and was charged with home invasion and felony murder.
