Angelia Jolie and her son Maddox flew to South Korea on Aug. 25 as the 18-year-old is set to begin his studies at Underwood International College at Yonsei University. The actress accompanied her son for his entrance ceremony on Aug. 26, and the teener was given a celebrity welcome at the institution when he and his mom dropped by for the orientation.

The Korea Times reported that Maddox is taking up life science and biotechnology at the prestigious Korean university. The entrance ceremony follows after a two-day orientation, which is also open to parents, so Jolie was with his son prior to the student’s welcome rites.

Now that the actress sent his son to college, he will be away from home for a long time. According to Radar Online, his absence left a big hole in Jolie’s life, so she wants this filled up as soon as possible. She’s allegedly looking for someone to date and has even reached out to some potential suitors already.

The “Maleficent” star reportedly wants to settle down now that her oldest child is away. This is said to be the first time she has actively been searching for a boyfriend since her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016.

“She’s been very emotional now that Maddox has gone off to college and says she has more time than she knows what to do with,” the tipster told the magazine. “She’s got some business acquaintances looking into this discreetly for her, plus there are a couple of guys who she’s hit up directly.”
