'Attack on Titan: No Regrets' Last Episode Spoilers: Watch 'Birth Of Levi' Preview Ahead Of April 9 Release Date [VIDEO]

We have all been waiting impatiently for the return of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 for more than a year now. Back in October last year, anime blog Hallels reported that the production of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 has already begun. However, "Attack on Titan" anime director Tetsura Araki announced that "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will not arrive until 2016

Despite the unusually long gap between seasons, "Attack on Titan: No Regrets, Birth of Levi" has proven to be a phenomenal spin-off that carries itself just as well as the main story. The first "Attack on Titan: No Regrets, Birth of Levi" OVA was released in December 9.

In the first episode, Levi and his band of thugs are trying to survive in the slums of an underground city. Somehow, Levi and his close friend Farlan manage to acquire some military 3D maneuver gear to rob food and get by.

Inevitably, the band of self-taught maneuver gear users have become infamous in the underground city. In fact, word reaches to a mysterious old man from the world above. The man proposes to Levi a job. Not only will Levi receive a lot of money when the job is complete, he will also receive a ticket to the outside and leave the underground slums once and for all.

However, the mission did not go as planned when Levi realized that he would be dealing with the skilled soldiers of the Survey Corps. The OVA features a dramatic battle between Levi and Erwin, the young unit captain of the Survey Corps.

Just as Levi and Erwin's traded strikes at an equal level, Levi realized the rest of his posse had already been captured. Levi had no choice but to surrender to the Survey Corps. Next, Erwin gave Levi a choice: face the charged against the crimes he committed or to join the Survey Corps and be offered a chance to leave the slum. For Levi, the choice was clear.

According to Crunchyroll, the second and last of the two "Attack on Titan: No Regrets, Birth of Levi" episodes will be scheduled for release on April 9. Be sure to watch the video below to see the preview of the upcoming episode. WARNING: SPOILERS.
