One year after finalizing his divorce with Jennifer Garner, A-list Hollywood actor Ben Affleck appears to have a new love interest. His rumored girlfriend is Katie Cherry — a 33-year-old musician he met through the celebrity dating app, Raya.
A source at US Weekly revealed that the two were seen together at a Halloween party on October 26, describing their appearance as being “very into each other” albeit proclaiming it seems to be nothing serious yet. In the preceding months, the source said that the two have been seeing each other on and off.
Katie, who seems to be a private person given her acute presence on social media pages, is a film composer according to her profile on Stage 32 — a social networking and collaboration platform for creative people.

1. She was at a music studio with hit producer Timbaland
In a snap uploaded on her Facebook page, Katie was photographed at a music studio with colleagues and legendary music producer, Timbaland.
However, it is unclear whether she has or has not worked with the icon, whose body of work includes Justin Timberlake’s "Sexy Back", Missy Elliott’s "Work It", and Jay-Z’s "Big Pimpin".
What’s a fact is that Katie is an alumna of the Berklee College of Music, and has since composed music for films including 2015’s "To Whom It May Concern".
2. She was a former model
A quick browse through Katie’s Facebook profile will lead you to stunning photographs of her in black and white. Posing like a professional model, she seems to know how to work her way in front of the camera and how to create images that can land on prints and commercial ads.
However, as her posts became more recent, you can see less of her model-like snaps as most of her posts are now about her being a musician.
3. She maintains a close relationship with her mother
Los Angeles-based Katie was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, where her mother Suzy still currently resides.
On Suzy’s Instagram account, you can see that both maintain a close relationship with each other, despite them not being physically together most of the time. Katie often leaves comments on her mother’s uploads, which mostly features snaps of her cooking and baking.
Recently, the mother-and-daughter tandem went to Fantasy Island and faced their fears as they rode the roller coaster.
4. Her ex-boyfriend used to train Ben Affleck’s ex-wife
