A first look picture of “The Boys” Season 2 has been released online. The picture confirms that there will be more bloodshed on the show when it returns next year.

Production of the Amazon TV series appears to have started already, after the studio announced an early renewal. Showrunner Eric Kripke shared a picture on his Twitter page and said that this was the “world’s first pic” of Season 2. Cast members Karen Fukuhara, Tomer Capon, Jack Quaid, and Laz Alonso can be seen in the picture, and the actors have blood dripping from their faces.

The TV series is a different take on the superhero TV shows that have become quite popular in the recent years. There is a lot of violence, nudity, and swearing in the TV series, which makes it different from a regular superhero show. The difference appears to have worked because it is one of the most watched shows on Amazon as of this writing.

Perhaps even Kripke didn’t know that show would become so big that they would start filming “The Boys” Season 2 so soon. In another tweet, the producer recalled how his first big challenge after the TV series got picked up for the first season was to come up with costumes that were as good as Marvel and DC.

The first season is currently streaming on Amazon. The official Twitter page of “The Boys” has compiled all the raving reviews and comments by various publications along with a few scenes from the TV series. It became such a big hit that even “Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn took to Twitter to share his compliment.

The producers haven’t announced when “The Boys” Season 2 will premiere. However, since the filming has already started, the fans may not have to wait too long for its return.
