“The Boys” season 3 has finally gotten a release date that will happen in June. The first three episodes will be released on Amazon Prime, something that is expected to finally address the questions most are asking since the season 2 finale of the superhero streaming TV series.

The official release date is on June 3. After the initial first three episodes, the remaining five other episodes will follow every Friday every week.

It will finally address the questions that were raised following the events that went down at the season finale of “The Boys.” At the top of the minds of most is who will be returning in the third season.

What can only be assured at this point is that Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie (Jack Quaid), Frenchie (Tomer Capon), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) are expected to be back. All were seen on set when the third season was being filmed.

Also, there is Homelander (Antony Starr), Maeve (Dominique McElligott), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), A-Train (Jessie Usher), and Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell) forming the Seven who are expected to return on the Supe side. The Dupe (Chace Crawford) is also expected to return while Vought CEO Stan Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) is likely to make a handful of appearances if his schedule permits.

With most of the cast members expected back, the next thing most want to see is a trailer. With roughly five months to go, one should be coming out before “The Boys” season 3 officially unravels.

For an idea, it will be recalled that the trailer for the second season of “The Boys” came about six weeks after filming was wrapped. With the release date now known, that official trailer could be out soon.

Some of the first set photos shot behind the scenes were already released on Twitter by show creator Eric Kripke. Aside from that, he also tweeted some illustrated posters of Homelander and Queen Maeve.
