American singer Britney Spears is back on Instagram after temporarily deactivating her social media account a couple of days ago. As of this writing, the reason behind it remains unknown.

Spears officially made her return on the social media platform, two days after it was mysteriously taken down. The 40-year-old was back to her old ways, posting pictures with her eyes locked on the camera, TMZ reported.

The caption was a simple rose emoji but this did not stop her followers from posting comments and welcoming her back on Instagram. Spears never explained why she deactivated her account and Instagram sources that it was all the pop stars’ doing.

Spears has used Instagram as a weapon against people who have hurt her. There was a post about that but has since been deleted.

However, all her post posts sans that are still up so fans can still check them out.

It was on Wednesday, Mar. 16, when Spears conspicuously disappeared on Instagram. It was not the first time that Spears had done it. She also did the same back in September, CNN reported.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, Spears allegedly took a break from Instagram, similar to what other celebrities do and nothing else.

She was gone from the social media platform, only to return after a week to celebrate her engagement to Sam Asghari.

The 40-year-old singer has been using Instagram to speak out about her fractured familial relationships and what she says was how she was treated during her conservatorship that ended last year.

The recent deactivation happened after Spears posted about wanting to be “feared,” not “pitied.” Last month, the pop star raised eyebrows for posting a series of nude photos of herself from a beach day with fiancé Sam Asghari.
