Before we get to the decision that has supporters of a Michael and Fiona reunion in tears, let's recap last night's "Burn Notice." In episode six of season seven, "All or Nothing" Strong tells Michael he got a reluctant Fiona to agree to help with the mission until it is over. Already racked with guilt about the way he and Fi left things Michael tells Strong he does not want Fiona to be a part of any mission.

Mike is informed he and Fiona don't get a say in this matter and for the first time this season Fiona and Westen are working together face to face. They go undercover as computer hackers in an effort to gather intelligence for Sonya. The chemistry that makes Fiona Glenanne and Michael Westen such a great team is still very much alive.

Fiona points out to Michael at one point in the episode that working together was never their problem. While the pair are hanging off a building together trying to get access to a couple of wires needed for their plan to work, Fiona's security harness breaks loose.
As she falls Fiona screams Michael's name and grabs his hand which saves her life. All the while Sonya is parked in a car observing what is happening through binoculars. As Michael pulls Fiona up to safety he begins to have flashbacks of all their time and missions together. One truly heart breaking memory is of the time Fiona and Michael were going to blow themselves up together in an attempt to get Jesse to safety so he could get an important list into the hands of the right people.
Sam and Jesse were on a mission of their own, helping their hacker friend Barry track down his former girlfriend, Trish. Barry created cover I.D's for Fiona and Mike's hacking job. In exchange Sam and Jesse agree to help Barry find his lost love.
(On an unrelated note, since "Burn Notice" is ending how great would a Sam and Jesse spin-off be?)
After a few threats, bashing the hoods of some very expensive cars and pulling a gun on an innocent man, Sam, Jesse and Barry learn the truth about Trish. After Barry got thrown in jail for helping Michael Trish sold the sports car Barry gave her as a gift. The man Barry believed to be Trish's kidnapper is actually her new boyfriend. When Barry learns this he is heartbroken. While Sam and Jesse are left with some egg on their faces.
With Michael and Fiona having successfully completed their mission, Fiona reminds him that their personal relationship is over (say it's not so!) and walks away.
The final part of the episode is where things get really interesting. It is pouring rain and Michael returns to his loft soaked, while Sonya sits on his bed looking at papers. Michael has a wild look in his eyes when he begins to demand Sonya put him in touch with the people she works for.
Sonya tells Michael joining her organization means making sacrifices. Westen begins to go off and tells Sonya he has already been making sacrifices. He mentions the pity he sees in his friends' eyes when they agree to help. Michael also mentions his brother Nate and how his mother will never be able to forgive him for Nate's death. Noticeably Westen does not mention losing Fiona. He tells Sonya she and the organization they are working for are all he has left. In a not so surprising twist Sonya tells Westen she feels the same way about him.
You could kind of see that coming, but what Westen does next has fans asking has he moved on from Fiona or is it for the mission? Westen kissed Sonya and they lay down on the bed in a passionate embrace with only one inevitable conclusion.
In the middle of the night we see Sonya asleep in Westen's arms and Fiona wide awake back at her place. Fi has her phone in her hand and is about to text Michael and tell him they need to talk. Changing her mind about it Fiona doesn't send the message.
The following morning Sonya is leaving the loft and tells Michael that she will make the phone call about getting him into her organization fulltime.
In the promo for next week's episode we see Westen speaking with Sonya's boss. The terrorist leader puts Michael through some psychological torture and brings up issues about his explosive and abusive past.
