While mostly everyone spent their Mother's Day next to their loved ones, Carlos Vives spent the holiday filming a new music video in his native country. We're pretty sure there's no hard feelings, and who knows, maybe he did celebrate Mother's Day after all. What we do know, however, is that Vives has recruited Miss Universe Paulina Vega for his new video for the single "Las Cosas de la Vida." Vega is not only a beautiful Colombiana, but also the most beautiful woman in the world after being crowned beauty queen at this year's pageant.
"How can our video not be a success if we count with the joy and warmth of our people from Barranquilla," Vives stated of the 22-year-old figure on his Instagram account. Miss Universe is also ecstatic with her participation, teasing her fans with what to expect. "Carlos Vives filmed a new music videos this weekend...and guess who's his costar?," she noted.
"Las Cosas de la Vida" was filmed by Christopher Sims, director who's worked with artists such as Usher, Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo, Stone Temple Pilots and Ludacris, to name a few.
