The Colombian team had a great run at the 2014 World Cup and celebrated their goals with a little coordinated dance back then. Now the team is going strong after beating Peru in a round of penalties 4-2 and moving on to the semifinals of the Copa América Centenario.

But before their winning quarterfinals game, superstar soccer players, including Carlos Sánchez, Frank Fabra, James Rodríguez, Marlos Moreno, Juan Cuadrado and Yerry Mina, had a little bit of a cumbia dance-off in their locker room.

Rodriguez, who is known for being very shy, does not usually say much during interviews or press conferences, because as a child he suffered from a heavy stutter, is clearly most comfortable when playing soccer, and by the look of it, while dancing.

The dance also appeared to bring luck to the players who were unable to score during the game, but managed to score four penalties, which Peru did not, allowing them to move forward to the semifinals.

After Argentina and the USA clash on Tuesday, June 21 at the NGR Stadium, Houston, at 9:00 p.m. ET, Chile will face Colombia at the Soldier Field, Chicago on Wednesday, June 22 at 8:00 p.m. ET to define the team’s fates to play the final for the grand Copa América Centenario trophy.
