Football star Cristiano Ronaldo found himself in Dubai on Thursday, Jan. 27, as he celebrated his girlfriend’s birthday by lighting up the Burj Khalifa while meeting up with the leaders of the country in earnest.

Ronaldo, who plays with Manchester United, is in Dubai right now having a vacation with his family, taking advantage of the weather in the Middle Eastern country in order to relax and unwind, according to Gulf Today.

Because his wife was also having a birthday that day, Ronaldo found himself lighting up the Burj Khalifa, one of the tallest man-made skyscrapers in the world, with an advertisement of his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez’s new Netflix show.

The football star is known as one of the richest football players in the world due to his endorsement deals and career earnings that surpass $1 billion, giving him a net worth of over $120 million, Forbes reported.

Ronaldo also recently found himself meeting up with local leaders like His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who welcomed the football star into the country with open arms.

The Dubai Expo 2020 even invited him to speak in a panel on Friday on a topic focused on Health and Wellness, seeing as the soccer star would know a thing or two regarding the topic at hand.

Meanwhile, Georgina Rodriguez’s new show "Soy Georgina (I am Georgina)" talks of the account of the girlfriend of one of the biggest football stars in the world, and her rags-to-riches story of how she hustled her way from a shop assistant to one of the most-followed people on Instagram, South China Morning Post reported.

Among the things she speaks about is how she was able to pivot Ronaldo’s influence and wealth into her own successful modeling career, and what it is like to be married to someone who has 500 million followers on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook collectively.
