Cristiano Ronaldo could reportedly find a way to make an early exit at Old Trafford after a sorrowful 2021-22 season; a move to Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, or Newcastle United is possible.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has one year remaining on his Man Utd contract; due to the team's incompetent performances, rumors emerged that Ronaldo could be transfer from the Red Devils for a better career.

The 37-year-old Portuguese international is known to have plenty of teams around the globe wanting to take him in. A long list of options could tempt him to make a transfer this summer. PSG is the most preferred team if Ronaldo ever decides to move away from United. With Lionel Messi in the team, the duo would definitely put on a one-of-a-kind season.

Real Madrid is also among Ronaldo's possible choices. He also previously played with the team, so it might be easier to work with some faces Ronaldo already knows. It is Ronaldo's best option if he wants more silverware. Under manager Carlo Ancelotti, the Spanish side won the double, finishing 13 points ahead of rivals Barcelona to win La Liga and overthrowing Liverpool 1-0 in the Champions League to win a record 14th European title. Ronaldo has already become Madrid's top goalscorer with 450 goals in his 438 games.

Newcastle United may also be a good choice. The Tyneside club will surely not care about finances or wages if Ronaldo is able to help them qualify for Europe. With their funds to compete with Europe's best, Newcastle will want an experienced player signing to kickstart their upcoming project.

The Portugal international initially signed under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. However, Ronaldo quickly found himself playing under Ralf Rangnick's management. Now, with changes bound to happen again, the newly appointed manager Erik ten Hag is about to take over the lead.

Meanwhile, United are scheduled for a busy summer, with the Red Devils planning to make several signings. However, there is also a high possibility they could lose multiple players. One of the Red Devils' players to be connected with a surprise summer transfer is legendary striker Ronaldo.
