Singer David Bowie has died at the age of 69, after a battle with cancer. It took only minutes for the music community, fans and celebs to take to social media to mourn and expressed their admiration toward the legendary rock star. “David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer,” read a post on Bowie’s Facebook page on Sunday night. “While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.” Scroll down to read some of the touching tributes to the famed entertainer.
