It's the moment we've all been waiting for. After nearly two years of battling non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, Robi Draco Rosa is now cancer free and back to creating music. The Puerto Rican singer-songwriter will hit the stage again after winning his battle with the disease on a tour that will start Oct. 19 and will take him to five U.S. cities starting in Los Angeles, Calif. He will make stops in San Francisco, New York, Orlando and end his U.S. tour with a final show in Miami, Fla., on October 26. Rosa will be performing his greatest hits as well as tracks off his new album "Vida."

On April 25, 2011, Rosa was diagnosed with a non-hodgkin lymphoma near his liver. He followed several alternative treatments at the Burzynski Clinic in Houston. Finally, he underwent conventional treatments of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation. He was under quarantine in his California home until December 31, 2012, when he was declared cancer-free. On May 30, 2013, Draco tweeted that his recent cancer study resulted negative, confirming he was completely cured. His tweet read: "Familia: I went in yesterday for a pet scan. Today my results came in; I'm free. So happy!! #cancerfree #celebration#love #faith #gratitude"

"Vida" is Draco Rosa's way of celebrating life after a difficult process he was able to overcome. He released the album in March, and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. It includes 16 tracks, all of which are duets with artists chosen personally by Rosa. A few of the artists lending their voices include Shakira, Maná, Marc Anthony and Ricky Martin, who was featured on the first single from the album, "Mas y Mas."

"After so many years of writing and doing projects together, I felt that the right right thing was this should be the first single. Ricky is one of the main artists with whom I've worked with, so it was a great idea to do such a pretty duet. It's that kind of things that are destined to happen", said Draco of his long-time friend, whom he met while they were both members of 80's boy band Menudo.

Shortly after releasing the album, 44-year-old Draco Rosa made a special appearance at Alejandro Sanz's concert in Puerto Rico, and the two shot the music video for their duet "Como Me Acuerdo" on location. A few months later, Draco traveled to the Dominican Republic to meet with tropical music superstar Juan Luis Guerra, with whom he shot the music video to "Esto es Vida," directed by Guerra's son, Jean Gabriel, who's proven he has incredible directorial skills and a great eye to capture the essence of such a complex song in terms of feelings and portray it in the simplest, yet perfect way.

After his U.S. tour, Draco will return to the Puerto Rican stage on December 6, 2013 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot with a concert entitled "Draco Rosa & Friends". Many artists participating in "Vida" are expected to perform alongside Draco.
