Star’s source revealed that another reason for the couple’s fight is Gosling’s refusal to have a third child. Mendes wanted to have another baby, believing that a new child will keep them closer. Contrary to the supposed antagonistic relationship between the two, Gosling and Mendes, along with their two children, were recently spotted publicly and acted as any normal loving family should. They were photographed as they went out to buy flowers on Valentine’s Day at Beach Wood Market, according to Daily Mail.

This latest rumor is certainly not the first one to hit the couple as there have been many similar cases in the past, all of which were proven to be untrue. Back in March 2017, rumors of the split also surfaced allegedly due to Gosling’s “La La Land” co-star Emma Stone, according to Gossip Cop. In October of the same year, it was Ryan’s turn to initiate a breakup over Mendes’ “jealous streak and reclusive behavior.”

But all rumors have all been proven to be false. While the couple opted to keep their relationship as privately as possible, the fact that they’ve stayed together this long is enough proof that their relationship is just as strong as ever.
