As we approach 2024, Dayanara Torres prepares to co-host "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024" from Puerto Rico. Returning for the second year, Torres brings her unique charisma to one of the most anticipated events on the global calendar.

This marks the third consecutive year that Puerto Rico will serve as the first U.S. destination to welcome the New Year. Alongside Torres, the event will also feature a performance by the "Queen of Reggaeton," Ivy Queen, showcasing the rich cultural talent of Puerto Rico.

"Last year was spectacular. We had so much fun, and I know ringing in 2024 will be even more special, full of music, dancing, and the best energy," said Dayanara Torres to The Latin Times. "I'm so excited to be returning as co-host and once again joining Ryan for the Spanish countdown live from our beautiful island of Puerto Rico."

Her enthusiasm was palpable as she reflected on the importance of her role. "To be able to represent all Latinos in this iconic event is very important to me," she said, underlining her long-standing commitment to showcasing Latino culture and heritage. Her journey, from being crowned Miss Universe to becoming a household name, has always been intertwined with her pride in her roots.

Reflecting on her journey, Torres discussed the importance of visibility and representation. "When I started my career, opportunities like this were rare for Latinas. It's heartening to see how far we've come," she said. Torres, known for her grace and charisma, sees this opportunity as a way to inspire and empower the next generation of Latina entertainers.

Torres also touched upon the significance of hosting the event on her beloved island. "Puerto Rico is a land of beauty, culture, and resilience. Hosting this event here, on our own soil, sends a powerful message of pride," Torres remarked. Her enthusiasm for bringing the event to her homeland is palpable, highlighting the island's vibrant culture and welcoming spirit.

A Celebration of Puerto Rican Spirit The New Year's Eve event in Puerto Rico is more than just a countdown; it's a vibrant celebration of the island's spirit. Set at the Puerto Rico Convention Center and DISTRITO T-Mobile, the evening promises to be a showcase of culture, music, and joy. With Torres at the helm, it's expected to be an unforgettable start to the new year.

The event will also feature other renowned artists from New York an Los Angeles, including Green Day, Ludacris, Janelle Monáe, Ellie Goulding, Doechii, and Thirty Seconds to Mars. Global sensations like Nile Rodgers and CHIC, Paul Russell, Loud Luxury, Two Friends, Bebe Rexha, Reneé Rapp, Coco Jones, and Aqua are also set to perform. Adding to this international flavor, Post Malone will perform from Las Vegas, NewJeans from South Korea, and Cardi B from Miami's Fontainebleau hotel.

Dayanara Torres looking forward 2024

Dayanara Torres rose to fame after being crowned Miss Universe in 1993. Since then, she has become a beloved figure in the entertainment industry, with a career spanning acting, singing, and hosting.

Torres was married to singer Marc Anthony from 2000 to 2004, and they have two children together, Cristian Anthony Muñiz and Ryan Anthony Muñiz. She spent Christmas in Florida with her two sons before traveling to Puerto Rico to prepare for the big event.

New Projects on the Horizon

Looking forward, Torres revealed her excitement about her new project, a movie titled "Padres" for Lifetime. She shares the lead with Venezuelan actors Rodolfo Salas and Luciano D'Alessandro.

"We are all very proud of this project. It's a beautiful story about love and family. I am grateful forever to Lifetime for showing our beautiful island around the world, she said about the production, filmed in Puerto Rico.
