Prince Charles is reportedly drafting new plans that he will immediately implement once he becomes the King of the British Monarch. According to the Daily Star, the Prince of Wales has already talked about minimizing the number of working royals. He wants to keep it to a minimum and he probably realized further that this is the right thing to do after the scandal with Jeffrey Epstein’s connection with the Duke of York surfaced.

When Queen Elizabeth vacates the throne, Prince Charles will replace her as the head of the British Monarch. When he becomes the ruler, it was reported that his main core group will only consist of his own family. This means that he will only assign Prince William, Prince Harry and their families to do royal duties.

It was said that some of the royal experts think that there are already indications that suggest Prince Charles wants to trim down the monarchy. Plus, it was added that Prince Andrew is definitely included on the list of people that he will be kicking out of the palace.

"I think the Andrew crisis has definitely strengthened Prince Charles' desire for a slimmed-down monarchy,” Deputy Editor of Royal Central, Brittani Barger, told the publication. “Prince Andrew is now out of the picture. I don't see him ever undertaking royal duties again, and any hope that his daughters would is now gone."

Aside from Prince Andrew, Express reported that the other royals who will be booted out include Prince Edward and Countess Sophie, Princess Anne, Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, Prince Richard and Brigitte, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

However, Charlie Proctor, another editor of the Royal Central warned that Prince Charles should be careful with eliminating some of the members of the royal family, especially those who have been working harder than any other royals. To restructure the monarchy is good but there are decisions that the Prince of Wales should really think deeply about.

“To have a true slimmed down monarchy, Princess Anne and Prince Edward would have to go too,” Proctor said. “Hopefully, Charles isn’t planning for this as not many people have worked harder for the institution of monarchy than Anne, Edward and Sophie.”
