One of the top fighter’s professional boxing has ever seen, pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Junior continues to blow through the competition in strong fashion despite recently turning 37. A five-division world champion who owns eight world titles and lineal crowns in three different weight classes, "Money Mayweather" has a resume that stacks up with some of the all-time greats. Signature wins over Shane Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya, Juan Manuel Marquez and Miguel Cotto are only a few of the tremendous talents the 45-0 boxer has taken down over the past two decades and while these career achievements are clearly worthy of recognition, the undefeated champ now finds himself in the middle of a potentially image-damaging situation.

According to TMZ Sports, Floyd Mayweather allegedly planned a brutal attack on two of his employees because he believed the men stole his jewelry. The individuals were hired to work on FMJ’s homes in Las Vegas but shortly after assigning the work, Mayweather -- who is set to face 35-3 Marcos Maidana in his next bout on May 5 at the MGM Grand -- told each person to meet with him at a location away from the property. What happened next -- if in fact an accurate description of what took place -- certainly doesn’t bode well for Mayweather.

As one unnamed source indicates, Mayweather was waiting for the men to arrive but he was not alone. Along with the use of weapons, multiple individuals in Mayweather’s personal circle of friends began to savagely beat the men Floyd initially accused of theft. The attack was reported as being so severe with one source noting that the men could have been killed. Each man suffered broken arms and legs and were each placed under hospital care for extended periods of time. Following the beating, the two men now plan to take legal action against Mayweather because they’ve said multiple times that they never took anything from the boxing champ.

TMZ also notes that Mayweather Junior now seems to realize these men did nothing wrong but the physical damage has already been done. Legally, FMJ and his crew could face charges of attempted murder, kidnapping and mayhem but even though he knows his name is being linked to these unnecessary acts, no statements have come from the fighters camp.
