The latest 2014 Ford Tremor F-150 marks the automaker's first EcoBoost V6 "performance truck." An extremely versatile engine, the 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 has also been applied in other F-150 variants as well as the Ford Explorer Sport, Flex, Taurus SHO, and the Lincoln MKS, and MKT.

The 2014 Ford Tremor F-150 is the first EcoBoost truck with the short-wheelbase, regular-cab design with the intent of lightweight and nimble performance over rugged utility.

The Ford Tremor's twin turbo 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 boasts 365 hp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. Thanks to the shortest final drive ratio available in the F-150's 6-speed automatic transmission, the Ford Tremor produces a stronger acceleration. In fact, 90 percent of the Tremor's peak torque is sent to its rear wheels from 1,700 rpm all the way to 5,000 rpm.

The 2014 Ford Tremor F-150 also features sport-oriented cosmetic touches including an FX Appearance Package, special exterior graphics with a stylized Tremor logo, flat black accents, 20-inch wheels, and HID headlights. Inside, the Ford Tremor features a black leather interior with red piping on the bucket seats and red stitching on the steering wheel. Brushed metal accents add a touch of flair to the cabin.

The Ford SVT performance division took a hiatus from the iconic Ford F-150 Lightning to create the wild F-150 SVT Raptor. Now, loyal fans of the original Lightning may find the Tremor's 365 hp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque power output familiar to the second-generation Lightning truck, which ended production back in 2004.
