In what should be the most lopsided game of the fourth day of group play at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, France takes on Honduras in their first ever match.

The French fans want to know how Les Bleus will play without Franck Ribery who is out of the World Cup tournament with a back injury.

Honduras should be a good opening test for the new French offensive attack of Olivier Giroud and Karim Benzema. I expect young, up and coming superstar, Paul Pogba to deliver plenty of pin point passes to his attackers and for him to cause all sorts of problems for the slower and more inexperienced Honduras defense.

Expect to see flashes of brilliance from Los Catrachos rising star, New England’s, Jerry Bengston. His matchup with Raphael Varane should be fun to watch.

Honduras has failed to score in their last four World Cup matches and France, since winning the World Cup in 1998, have failed to score in every World Cup opener they have played in.

Something has to give in this one and I believe BOTH teams will find the back of the net. Expect France to jump out to an early lead with goals from both Giroud and Benzema. I believe Jerry Bengston scores late for Honduras, ending the World Cup drought for Los Catrachos.

My Prediction: Despite being physical and aggressive, Honduras is no match for Les Bleus. 3-1 France
