Emotionally torn and with tears in her eyes, Francisca Lachapel confirmed her marriage is over. After nearly three years of being married to Rocky Lachapel, the Dominican TV personality has revealed that her marriage is officially over.

Francisca Lachapel, who in 2015 entered the "Nuestra Belleza Latina" competition and won the crown as a married woman, opened up to "Sal y Pimienta" and explained the reasons of their split.

"I think that what happened, with or without a crown, would have had the same ending," Lachapel explained to the Univision show, assuring that her profession had nothing to do with the breakup. "People separate, it happens to a lot of people. It's unfortunate, it hurts, it makes you angry, you don't know what to do. It's hard, but in the end you have to do what your heart says," stated Lachapel.

The "Despierta America" host, who admitted that she and Rocky Lachapel have been separated for a while, was afraid of publicly announcing her divorce for many reasons. "To be judged is the first fear," she said, adding that both families would be affected with the decision.

"No one is at fault here, there's no third person, we sat down one day to talk about the relationship and staying together and decided that we can't continue," she said to "Sal y Pimienta."

The 2015 "NBL" queen, who dreams of having a stable life with a husband and three kids, assured that she and Rocky Lachapel have a great and supportive friendship despite their divorce. For now, her main priorities are her career and bringing her mother to the United States. "I believe in love and believe that there are people who give it their all for someone else," Francisca Lachapel stated, adding that she is a firm believer that El Principe Azul (Prince Charming) is out there.
