As Gina Rodriguez becomes a trending topic on the Internet for lending her Golden Globe dress to a fan for prom, we cannot help but notice one of her recents posts on social media, where she sends a very important message to fans.

Earlier this week, the Puerto Rican actress posted a gorgeous black-and-white photo of herself captured by professional photographer Matt Doyle. Although her beauty is undeniable, it was hard to let her beautiful caption unnoticed. In the message, Rodriguez explained that she chopped her locks for a movie role. She then took the opportunity to deliver a very wonderful message to her followers.

The "Jane the Virgin" actress expressed the following:

I cut my hair for a film and there is nothing more freeing then realizing your beauty exists from within. I am not my hair. I am not my weight. I am not my skin color. I am love, I want to be love with every interaction, with every decision I make for myself, with every failure and success. You should try it. I dare you. Let go of what you think would make you more beautiful and discover you have all you need already inside.

This is not the first or last time Rodriguez spread empowering messages to her fans. In fact, she recently sent a very special message to Jessica Casanova, the lucky high school girl who wore Rodriguez's 2015 Golden Globe dress to prom. "Just know I love you. I'm so proud of you. I'm so excited for you," Gina told the Senior. "You look beautiful and everybody will remember it -- especially you!"

Casanova, a 17-year-old student from Buffalo, New York, told Entertainment Tonight all about her experience, stating that she felt like the luckiest girl in the world.

"l have no words, no other celebrity can compare to what she has done," she stated of Gina's kind gesture. "She deserves everything in this entire world." We totally agree!
