Currently pacing the stacked NFC North division with an overall record of 5-2, the Green Bay Packers have a lot to be happy with, especially since they'll enter their Week 9 showdown against the rival Bears riding a four-game winning streak. Green Bay has taken six-straight meetings from Chicago and given the fact that Bears quarterback Jay Cutler will be out once again as he continues to recover from a groin injury suffered last month, Chicago's hopes of ending the losing skid to Green Bay will come down to the play of back-up quarterback Josh McCown.

In addition to playing without Cutler - who has thrown for 12 touchdowns and over 1,600 yards this season - Chicago will be sans linebacker Lance Briggs, another injury head coach Marc Trestman knows his team will have to overcome in a hurry if they're to be successful in all areas of the upcoming division showdown. Briggs will be sidelined for at least five weeks as he recovers from a shoulder injury suffered in the same October 20 loss to the Washington Redskins.

"I think that you win in all three phases," Trestman said. "I think that's what, as you look at the games, there are teams that are hurting in different places throughout the league and they're finding a way to play a complete game in there and they're creating momentum and winning. So I think the No. 1 way we can improve is by guys just paying attention to their job and not trying to make up for a younger guy or trying to do too much. If we can do that and we've got to play together -- we're not three different units and three separate silos of a building. We really have to play together more than ever now, and I think that's something that we're capable of doing."

While Chicago (4-3) continues to endure multiple injuries, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers will host the Bears without the services of wide receivers Randall Cobb and James Jones. In addition to being without two of his primary weapons, the Green Bay QB will also miss the pass-catching abilities of tight end Jermichael Finley.

Coming off a performance against the Minnesota Vikings in which he completed 24 of 29 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns, Aaron Rodgers isn't concerned about the ability of what he has at his disposal, especially since wide out Jordy Nelson collected two scores and 123 yards in the 44-31 Minnesota win.

"We've got a great team, very well-coached," Rodgers said to reporters. "Guys are ready to play."
