Nick Jonas, who was born Nicholas Jerry Jonas, turns 24 on Sept. 16, 2016. The youngest of the three Jonas Brothers has come a long way in his singing career, creating hits such as "Chains," "Jealous" and "Close."

Jonas released his first single in 2002, and later decided to form the "Jonas Brothers" with his elder brothers, Joe and Kevin. After releasing four studio albums, the band took a hiatus, following which he formed another band called, "Nick Jonas & the Administration." Jonas later returned to his solo music career.

- He was at a hair salon when someone first noticed his singing skills. "My mom was getting her hair done and I just happened to be there with her and I was singing. Someone heard me singing and said I should go see this manager. It kind of rolled out from there," he said in an interview.
