Helen Mirren is currently portraying Queen Elizabeth II in the play "The Audience." The renowned actress was praised for her most recent role, last week Mirren earned an Olivier award for best actress. However Helen Mirren's latest was not about her phenomenal performance on stage but actually her scolding in front of the theater.
During a recent performance of "The Audience" Mirren's acting was disturbed by a noisy group of drummers stationed outside of the theater. Mirren took matter into her own hands as she stormed out of London's Gielgud Theater, still dressed as Queen Elizabeth donned in pearls and of course a tiara.
Audience members attending "The Audience" have varying reports of Mirren's exact words. Some claiming the 67-year-old actress yelled at the group to "Shut the f**k up!" While others attest Mirren stomped out of the theater and screamed, "Quiet! I'm trying to do a play in here!"

The large group of disruptive musical performers marched past the theater as a part of the "As One in the Park" parade. The parade was promoting a festival for gay and transgender people taking place in London in May.
However, the large group of musicians was followed by about 200 people and decided to perform a drum crescendo directly in front of theater. Audience member, Mr. Scotchbrook, stated "she was a real pro, she saved the day." He also revealed that Helen came on stage to address the irritating noise and told the audience, "I went outside dressed as the Queen and told them, not too politely, to 'go away' as they were spoiling the play."
