Huey Lewis Car Theft: 31-Year-Old Katherine Bowyer Gallagher Charged With Felony

Huey Lewis finally gets some good 'news'. Katherine Gallagher has plead guilty in the case of Huey Lewis' car theft. The frontman of Huey Lewis & The News, 65, left his 2012 Toyota Corolla rental running in a Mill Valley, Calif. hotel parking lot while he ran in to get a receipt. When he returned, the car, filled with Huey Lewis' valuables including a computer, was gone.

Gallagher, described as a "local transient" was seen around the Holiday Inn Express by eyewitnesses around the time Lewis' car disappeared. Gallagher was able to make a plea deal for a lesser charge than the original car theft charges, giving her a 50-day jail sentence for possession of stolen property for the February 21 incident.
