Key speculations about Apple's forthcoming iPhone 12 have been circulating online. Although the tech company has not confirmed the names of the phones, five rumors about the 2020 phones persistently stand out.

According to a report, Apple's release of its 2020 flagship phones iPhone 12, 12 Pro and 12 Max may still be well on schedule following the recent release of the iPhone SE. The following compelling rumors are expected to continue until the actual phones are officially launched.

Despite the bottlenecks faced by the tech company's operations, speculations are rife that the iPhone 12 may be released in October. Contrary to this, correspondents from the Wall Street Journal purports that the iPhone 12 release date could be pushed back for a month due to the widespread effect on manufacturing and a shift in consumer demands.

Some analysts tipped that the iPhone 12's design may be similar to iPhone 11. A report by Japanese publication Mac Otakara cites that the considerable difference will be on the former's edges and its language design. Wedbush analyst Dan Ives said that this will significantly drive up consumer demand and consequently drive sales.

iPhone 12 may be upping the game through its revamped specs and display sizes. It is heavily rumored that one of the variants of the 2020 flagship phones may come with a 5.4-inch screen and another one may feature a larger 6.7-inch screen.

Additionally, Apple could have equipped its variants of iPhone 12 phones with higher refresh rates and thereby reaching the rate of 120Hz, as well as the LiDar sensor and the rear camera setup.

Finally, several influencers have written that Apple will include 5G connectivity on all of its iPhone 12 variants. Analyst Ming-chi Kuo predicts that the tech giant may be releasing a minimum of three 5G phones within the year.

It can be recalled that Apple has cut its ties with 5G provider, Qualcomm, due to a dispute in its licensing fees. Although the said conflict has been settled in April 2019, it caused an irreversible effect on its manufacturing timetable.
