A familiar face will be joining the cast of the forthcoming Marvel/Netflix series "Iron Fist." Carrie-Anne Moss has been confirmed to reprise her role from "Jessica Jones" in the new show, reports IGN. Hate her or love her, you have to admit that Moss has a way of capturing the audience attention in the role of Jeri Hogarth.

Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb said in a statement that he is as excited to see Moss joining the cast of "Iron Fist" as fans are and how it only makes sense that she joins the series seeing how in the comic series Hogarth plays a crucial role in Danny Rand's life.

"Carrie-Anne has fast become a fan-favorite part of our street level saga, and we share our viewers’ excitement in bringing her into Marvel's Iron Fist," Loeb said in a statement. "As Marvel fans know, Hogarth in the comics plays a critical role in the life of Danny Rand, so it seems only fitting that Carrie-Anne join in."

Showrunner Scott Buck commented about Moss entering the world of "Iron Fist" and gave us an insight into her role on the series saying, "Danny Rand lives in the highest stratosphere of New York's business society and he's going to need a ruthless lawyer to help him navigate this alien world."

Additionally, a handful of actors have been confirmed to join the new Netflix series including lead Finn Jones, who stars as Danny Rand, Jessica Henwick as Rand's close friend and associate Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum and Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum.

"Iron Fist" will be the third Marvel-centric series coming to Netflix as an original series. According to Screenrant, the official synopsis for the streaming services original series reads:

"Returning to New York City after being missing for years, Daniel Rand fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist."
