Jennifer Lopez is playing an unbothered queen amid Jose Canseco’s cheating allegations against her new fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. But while the female superstar won’t let Canseco’s bombshell keep her up at night, fans could not help but ask — did J. Lo really know what she was getting into when she said yes to Alex Rodriguez?

The past weekend was an emotional whirlwind of sorts for J. Lo’s fans. Just 32 hours after the power couple announced their engagement, Rodriguez’s former New York Yankee teammate dropped a major bombshell when he accused J. Lo’s fiancé of cheating on her. Worse? He pulled his ex-wife Jessica into the mix.

“Watching World of Dance watching J. Lo text Alex Rodriguez little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is,” Canseco wrote on Twitter on Sunday night. The former MLB star also claimed that he was with his ex-wife when she got a call from Rodriguez. “Alex Rodriguez stop being a piece of shit stop cheating on Jennifer Lopez,” he added.

Canseco also tweeted his phone number at J. Lo in case she wanted to know “the truth” and challenged Rodriguez to an MMA fight. “I am willing to take a polygraph to prove that what I’m saying about Alex Rodriguez is 100% accurate,” he wrote.

Amid this new accusation, J. Lo is placing her full trust and confidence in Rodriguez. After Canseco instigated the Twitterstorm, a source revealed that the female singer only responded by turning the other cheek. “She trusts him and his love,” the source said. “They are inseparable and together almost all of the time. Jose Canseco has an ax to grind, but she doesn’t hear the noise.”

It looks like nothing could steal the thunder from Lopez and Rodriguez right now — not even Canseco, whose contentious history with his rival Rodriguez dates back to 2008. In his 2008 book “Vindicated,” Canseco claimed that he “introduced Alex to a known supplier of steroids.” That time, both players admitted to using drugs to enhance their performances during games.
