Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez Reunite In Dominican Republic After Split Rumours

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez are "putting the work in" to stay together after a brief split.

Lopez has been in the Dominican Republic shooting for her upcoming romantic comedy "Shotgun Wedding" and Rodriguez joined her over the weekend.

"He flew back to the Dominican Republic this weekend so he can spend a few more days with Jennifer," a source told People.

Sharing an update on his stay in the Dominican Republic, Rodriguez posted a series of videos and photos that featured the former baseball player playing golf in the island. "Golf in the (Dominican Republic) #Blessed #Fore#playagrande," he posted on Instagram.

Lopez, on the other hand, was all in work mode. She took to Instagram to share shots from the set of her film and wrote, "Eye on the prize. #ShotgunWedding #MakingMovies #SetLife."

Meanwhile, an unnamed source told Page Six, “They’re doing what they said they’re going to do. You have to be together to do that.”

It is also said that Rodriguez has planned more trips to the Dominican Republic and that he will visit Lopez every 10 days or so. This weekend’s visit was one of the trips he had planned.

“Clearly they’re putting the work in,” the source added.

This is the second time that Rodriguez flew to the Dominican Republic to spend some quality time with Lopez after the news of their split emerged.

After rumours of their breakup popped up, the couple issued a joint statement on March 13. They said they've been "working through some things" in their relationship.

The singer-actress and Rodriguez got engaged in March 2019 after dating for two years.
