Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got engaged in March. But the couple just revealed that they are not rushing to tie the knot.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the “Shades Of Blue” actress said that she and her fiancé have decided to take things slow because they both have a very busy year ahead. Lopez also said that she wants to focus on wedding planning when she has the time.

“There’s no rush,” Lopez said. “We really see this as something that’s gonna be forever, and we’re gonna just take our time and do it right. And do it not rushed,” she added.

But even though Lopez doesn’t have much time on her plate at the moment, the “World Of Dance” judge still sees to it that she checks out some wedding dresses and venues. However, she only does it when she’s free since she’s working most of the time.

Jennifer Lopez just wrapped up the filming for her upcoming movie, “Hustlers.” She is also gearing up for her upcoming birthday concert tour called “It’s My Party.” Rodriguez is also busy with his own professional engagements.

Meanwhile, the mom of two also shared details about her upcoming tour, which will celebrate her 50th birthday. She said that her goal is to turn the concert tour into something like an intimate party.

“We’re all celebrating together,” she said. “We’re dancing, we’re singing, we’re having a good time. I want to create a different atmosphere than normal just watch me do my thing. I want it to be interactive.” Lopez’s “It’s My Party” tour will kick off on June 7.

Lopez and Rodriguez dated for over two years before they got engaged. The couple has what is known as a blended family. Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, have a close relationship with Lopez’s daughters, Ella and Natasha.

Lopez and Rodriguez have also been living together with their children. Max and Emme get along well with Ella and Natasha, and they treat each other like real siblings.
