Jennifer Lopez and the cast and crew of 'Shades Of Blue' have just gone through a scare. Their fictional lives gas crossed over to reality with reports that shots were fired on the set of the upcoming show.

According to Deadline, news has spread that shots were fired on set at the Bedford Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn, New York. The details are still a bit sketchy but there are reports of men who interrupted the shoot with the untimely shooting.

The site reports that there are conflicting reports about gunfire in the streets where the series was filming. It is said that police or security quickly took control over the situation. While a number of cast and crewmembers are shaken, sources close to the production say that everyone on the show is safe.

Recurring guest star Kathryn Kates was there along with two female PAs banging on the door of her trailer were being chased by the perpetrators.

J.Lo had left for the day so she wasn’t on set went the shooting occurred.

NYPD Lt. Thomas Antonetti told the site that they have had no confirmed reports of a shooting and that no 911 call was made.

Kates tells the site that while she was in her trailer for wardrobe she heard a commotion outside. Right after she heard banging on her door. She heard two female voices pleading to let them in.

Tracey opened the door and quickly locked it – the 2 PA’s rushed in saying they were being threatened and, had she not locked the door, whomever was outside would have gotten in. The people outside started banging on my door. I was about to call 911 but they were already on the walkie-talkies with the producers and security. Within 5 minutes, we were escorted to a van and taken to a trailer closer to the set.

Thankfully everyone is safe and sound.
