Kansas Jayhawks
Kansas faces Eastern Kentucky in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Reuters

The road to another final four for the Jayhawks begins by facing Eastern Kentucky. Joel Embiid will not be available to play until maybe next week so they will have to rely on Andrew Wiggins and Perry Ellis while Embiid’s back heals. Their defense is going to have to improve after allowing 90 point in two of their last three games. Kansas is 7-1 in NCAA Tournament games, their only loss coming to Geirgia Tech in the 2004 Elite Eight.

The Colonels won the Ohio Valley Tournament. They will try to force turnovers and play small ball, the Jayhawks have bigger players. Head coach Jeff Neubauer believes they have the recipe to match up with a team like Kansas. He said “We have to shoot the ball well. You have to take care of the basketball; all right, that’s one thing we do well also -- one of the ten best teams in the country at valuing the ball.”

If Kansas takes care of the ball and plays like they know how to, beating Eastern Kentucky will be a breeze. Tune in to TBS at 4:10 p.m. and if you want to live stream, click here.
