One of the most popular and recognizable musicians in the world is set to release another album that will undoubtedly fly off shelves and earn millions of online downloads.

According to multiple sources, country music star Keith Urban plans to release his latest album "Fuse" on September 10. Still finalizing certain tracks on an album that is a follow-up to the previous "Get Closer" track of songs, the 45-year-old superstar is excited about the release of his newest works, citing how enjoyable the latest project has been.

"It's just been really creatively liberating to me," Urban said in an interview with FOX News. "I love collaborating. It's the one thing I've always loved doing, whether it's writing or performing or being in the studio, I love the collaborative process. I think finding people's strength is the thing I love the most."

This album may be one of Urban's biggest successes since he is using multiple country music producers to enhance the quality and enjoyment of each track.

Primarily working with producer Dann Huff throughout his career, Urban will also utilize the talents of Jay Joyce and Nathan Chapman. Joyce has worked closely with country star Eric Church over the years while Chapman has seen worldwide success accompanying country megastar Taylor Swift. In 2010, Chapman and Swift took home the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.

While the news of Urban's latest album release has sparked tons of excitement around the country music world, the artist does not know what to make of his future with the hit television show "American Idol."

Joining the program as a judge alongside Randy Jackson and singers Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey in 2012, Urban says he is just waiting out a process that "Idol" has been known to prolong over the years.

"I have no official information of anything," Urban told the New York Daily News. I'm pretty much in the same boat as everybody else here with the rumors that have been floating around. I don't know anything more about what's happening next season. It was like this before I signed on so it's not unusual for the 'Idol' folks to be in this place of figuring out what they want to do."

The show has a lot of regrouping to do following a season that saw the FOX program receive its lowest ratings in its 12-year history. Long-time judge Randy Jackson has already announced his departure from "Idol" and after just one season, pop sensation Nicki Minaj has also stepped away from the show.

Not leaning in any particular direction when it comes to whether or not he'll return to "American Idol," Urban did note how much he enjoys meeting up-and-coming artists and helping them develop their individual skillsets.

"I love artists," Urban said. "I love the beginnings of artists when all they've got is raw talent and nothing else."

No matter what happens with "Idol" moving forward, Urban will certainly enjoy continued success as a country music star, especially when his latest project is officially released on September 10.
