The “World’s Most Talked About Couple” finally gets the fashion world’s most coveted honor-the cover of Vogue. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are on the cover of Vogue’s April 2014 issue, and they look ready to say “I do!” The 33-year-old new mom is positioned loving in the embrace of her fiancé and while he is nuzzling on her neck looking away from the camera, Kim gives her fiercest, with her piercing brown eyes. With her dazzling engagement ring on full display, the pair are photographed in full wedding couture, Kim is wearing a strapless cream gown in the cover and can be sporting more Avant-garde wedding gowns on the inside spread. The gorgeous Vogue cover and romantic inner spread were shot by famed photographed Annie Leibovitz, who has also snapped notable portraits of Miley Cyrus, John Lennon, Rihanna, Demi Moore, and even political figures including the Obamas and Queen Elizabeth II.

In addition to the photos, Vogue released a behind-the-scenes video set to West’s latest track “Bound 2” which rose to popularity after the premiere of the revealing music video featuring Kardashian topless on a motorcycle. The video, which is also beautifully crafted, features touching moments between Kardashian and West, who rarely show public displays of affection and their 9-month-old daughter North, who seems to revel in the excitement of a photo-shoot. Doting mom, Kim, can be seen coddling baby Nori and exchanging sweet smile with West, all the while, looking like an outright beautiful bride.

Several reports claim that Vogue’s markedly particular editor-in-chief Anna Wintour was not too keen on the idea of having a self-made reality TV star cover the fashion forward magazine, however, it seems it was both a dream of Kardashian and West to see themselves on the pages of Vogue. According to Celebuzz, West met with Wintour multiple times in order to persuade into featuring his fiancée on the cover, allegedly even comparing her to Vogue’s February cover holder Lena Dunham of HBO’s hit series “Girls.” Despite Wintour’s objection to having a reality star on the cover, Kim has established herself as a fashion icon, which to most seems like the type of person that would make an ideal cover model.
