Poised to be the next Latin pop star, Vanessa Wong, released  her debut single "Pura Candela." A scorching hot single that will surely make everyone dance to the beat of the Latin Rhythms, fused with pop and urban sounds, with Spanglish lyrics.

The single is accompanied by the premiere of the music video, shot in Miami and directed by José Cuello. The video is a feast to the eyes, showcasing the vivid colors of Miami, where Vanessa shows off her dance moves in the company of her friends.

At only 16 years old, Vanessa is a powerhouse, and has proven her talent is evident during the fourth season of "La Voz Kids," where she caught the attention of all the judges with her powerful rendition of “Alive” by Sia.

Vanessa joined international super star Natalia Jimenez’s team where she learned valuable lessons leaving her mark on Season 4. Her passion for Latin Music grew during her season on "La Voz Kids," and after it was over she decided to focus on her music career.

Vanessa told Latin Times she’s been working on her single for the past six months and is very happy. “I’m very excited to be releasing my song,” said Wong. “'La Voz Kids’ opened so many doors for me, and introduced me to the Latin music industry and it’s such a beautiful place to be at the moment.”

She worked on her songwriting and went straight to the recording studio. About "Pura Candela," Vanessa also expressed: “I am very excited to finally share my own music with the world. 'Pura Candela' is a song I wrote and was very involved in the creative process of both the single and video. Seeing my vision come to life is the best feeling. I am immensely happy that the time has come to launch the single and share it with the world.”

Even though she's very young, Vanessa is also an entrepreneur with her own brand of cosmetics called Wong Cosmetics, which she sells exclusively through her online store.

“Three years ago my mom got a new job at a beauty school and I was always there,” remembers Wong. “So I have this heavy influence of all thing beauty and fashion and whatever is trending.” She also described her fashion style as casual and sporty with some other days wanting to wear something cute with a good pair of heels.

Vanessa Wong kicks off her promo tour in Miami and Orlando, before heading to NYC and Los Angeles later this year. The triple threat singer-songwriter, dancer and mogul is ready to share her own music with the world and is poised to be the next International Female Pop Star.
