Lady DIF is the new face of corruption in Mexico. Laura Romero Montes, is the president of DIF in Panjamillo, Michoacan. The woman insulted a group of protestors that were asking for drinking water in their town. Romero Montes was recorded when she insulted the townspeople that are in their right to demand basic necessities. The government is supposed to serve the public and need to tend to their issues. Lady DIF got out of the vehicle she was in and was recording the protestors with her iPad. She looked mighty ridiculous, but why was she doing this? Was she doing this to retaliate against them later on? Let's hope not.
In the video that was uploaded to YouTube we can hear people yelling "we want water." "Look Mrs. Lucrecia, I have a newborn child at the presidency," she told the protestors. "Go to hell... he's not there, he's not there. I'm only defending my grandson." Seems like Lady DIF wanted the yelling to stop as her grandson was at home trying to sleep and her husband Eliseo Leyva was not home at the time. Romero Montes continued to tell people they had no right to be out there protesting. She ultimately got fed and up and left. The video gets cut off but it has gone viral on social media. Let's hope that the protestors get their needs and water that they need. Check out the video and GIFs down below!
