Four new photos have been revealed for season three of "The Legend of Korra!" The new screenshots feature Lin Beifong in a combat stance, Tenzin's daughter Jinora mediatating and the gang with surprised looks on their faces. The first new stills arrived early this month and it was a pair of pics of Jinora deep in trance. Showrunner Bryan Konietzko showed off the pics on his Tumblr page and left a message apologizing for beign silent about Book Three's production. Konietzko wrote, "Busier than my usual amount of busy as we are finishing up work on the second Korra art book on top of our production duties. We’re really excited to get that thing printed and released! Here are some peaceful, meditative stills of Jinora from Book 3. I really love these delicate, organic paintings by Studio Mir."
A few days later Konietzko shared another still from book three but gave little detail about it. In fact he didn't give any detail at all, just posted the pic to his tumblr page and suggested it would be good for the caption game. The picture showed Mako, Bolin, Korra and Asami with shocked looks on their faces, wonder what they're looking at? Then last week he shared a still of his "hero" Lin Beifong writing about the photo, "I love this Book 3 still of my hero, Lin Beifong, from Studio Mir’s animation of a storyboard panel by supervising producer Lauren Montgomery." It's nice to see this many production stills in a matter of two weeks. It means the shows production is moving along at a fairly rapid pace and we should be hearing a release date soon. Check out all the awesome stills below!
Meanwhile last month a teaser trailer focusing on Avatar Korra emerged online. The trailer showed Korra, who appears to be facing a considerable amount of trouble in balancing her diplomatic duty and Avatar duties. We also see the Avatar facing off against members of the White Lotus, as well as a group of people dressed in green, perhaps earth benders who have yet to be featured in the series. There is a shirtless Tenzin doing some air bending, a brief view of Bumi and last but not least dragons! If you missed it check out the trailer below the recently revealed stills.
