Who would've thought "Seth Cohen" and "Blair Waldorf" were real life sweethearts? You can pick up your jaws now, and think about it for a second: what Blair really wanted was real love, and Seth always dreamt about the perfect girl. There you go.
What is even more amazing, is that they will co-star together again (they first met while they were shooting "The Oranges" back in 2011) in "Life Partners", a movie by first-time director Susanna Fogel -- who also co-wrote the screenplay -- but unfortunately on-screen displays of affection are not scheduled since Meester will be going a totally different direction, literally.
She will be playing a lesbian named Sasha, whose best friend Paige (Gillian Jacobs) vows not to get married until same-sex couples have the same legal right. But something happens along the way and Meester's character meets a charming doctor named Tim (Adam Brody) who manages to sweep her off her feet.
Hmm... Maybe we can have a little hope that the two of them will share at least one kiss on screen!
The movie also features performances by Gabourey Sidibe and Abby Elliott.
