One win away from advancing to the 2013 National League Championship Series, the Los Angeles Dodgers hope to keep their strong play going when they host the Atlanta Braves in Game 4 of the National League Division Series. Sending former Cy Young award winner Clayton Kershaw to the mound on short rest against Atlanta starter Freddy Garcia, the Dodgers hope they're able to provide their pitcher with substantial run support in front of the home crowd. While L.A. was able to get to some of the younger pitchers Atlanta threw at them early in the series, Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez is confident that the veteran Garcia will come through in the biggest game of the season.

"You start looking at the rotation and see how young they are and how inexperienced they are," Gonzalez said of some of the younger pitchers in his rotation including Game 1 starter Kris Medlen and Game 2 winner Mike Minor. "Then you look at Freddy Garcia's experience, you look at his postseason starts and postseason innings, so you give him an opportunity to do that. I think he knows how to maneuver himself through a Major League lineup. He's shown that this year."

While Atlanta hopes Freddy Garcia is able to extend the series, the Dodgers hope the offense stays hot coming off a 13-6 win in Game 3. Led by Carl Crawford and Juan Uribe - who each hit big home runs in the victory - Los Angeles plans on winning with a complete team effort, a mentality that's carried the team throughout the season.

"It was a total team effort," Crawford said following the Game 3 victory. "Guys were swinging the bat well. That's what it's going to take, 25 guys to do the job and come together play well."
