Mama June’s family is not giving up on her even though it seems the reality star could no longer care about them. The family is said to be finding a way to get Mama June away from her current boyfriend, Geno. They believe that he is the reason that she cannot get her addiction issues sorted out.
TMZ reported that June’s sister Joanne has already started an effort to get the reality star away from Geno. The controversial couple was in court in Alamba last Wednesday when Geno became combative. He shouted slurs at photographers while a film crew was documenting Joanne’s efforts to get into her sister.
In a video that captured the whole event, it can be seen that despite Joanne’s best efforts to get June to talk to her and have lunch with her, these were futile. The reality star remained hardened against her sister and even slammed the car door in Joanne’s face.
Joanne even went to the courthouse earlier this month just for the chance to see June but it was unsuccessful. The persistent sister called June several times but no contact has been established.
It’s not only her sister that June’s alienating. She also does not care that her own daughter Honey Boo Boo does not want anything to do with her if she’s with still Geno.
Recently, the 14-year-old, who literally grew up in the public’s eye shared. how sad she is on her Instagram. “Let me tell y’all how proud i am of myself! [I] have been through hell and back this year ! and i’m still standing! i have been doing so good in school ! and just being more happy,” Honey Boo Boo wrote. “Let me just be the one to tell y’all if you are going through anything right now trust me it gets better you are worth it, i’m so proud of you, i can see you trying, i love you,” she added.
Despite what Honey Boo Boo might be facing, Mama June is yet to prioritize her by dumping Geno.
