The unstoppable Mariah Carey is filming her upcoming docuseries “Mariah’s World,” plus planning her wedding to fiancée James Packer, plus rehearsing for her upcoming “Sweet Fantasy Tour” as well! Lucky for us, we get to be a part of it with the show, which will be divided in eight parts and will give fans a glimpse of the diva’s hectic life. “I am not Cinderella; my life has not been a fairy tale,” Carey said.

“Forget the image, forget the rumors, I owe this to the fans!” The songstress shared throughout the 90-second clip that she is like everybody else that her fans are unlike any others. “My fans are unparalleled; nobody gets it,” she said.

We also get to see the singer rehearsing, dancing, celebrating and doing red carpets, all musicalized by her smash hit song “Emotions” and “Obsessed.”

Do not forget to check out Mariah’s rule about fluorescent light, which explains why we see her wearing sunglasses indoors so often. It is not just because of her celebrity status; there is a reason for it!

In addition, US Weekly reported last month that the singer’s production team wants the nuptials to be part of the TV show.

Although the “Sweet Fantasy” singer refused to call the TV special a reality show, it is pretty obvious that that is what it is. “Her manager is a reality TV producer and got her the deal,” a second source previously told Us Weekly. And another source added that it will probably be hilarious because Carey is “very funy on camera,” which we can now witness in the newly revealed clip.

The series has been picked up by E! Entertainment Television and while there is no set release date as of yet, the network said we can expect it very soon.

After seeing the clip, we cannot wait to watch the series and we are thinking there is a high chance for it to get extended way further than its initial eight-episode run.
