Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed that President Donald Trump yelled at her over the phone due to her insistence to get the Epstein files released, according to a new report.

Speaking to The New York Times, Greene said the call took place after the held a news conference in which she threatened to identify some of the men who abused underage women.

She went on to say that her staffers could hear Trump yelling at her, and after she "expressed perplexity over his intransigence," the president said "my friends will get hurt."

Greene added that she then told Trump to invite Epstein victims to the Oval Office, to which he said they had done nothing to merit the honor. That was the last conversation they had, she said.

The two figures have clashed publicly over the past months, and Greene has said she will resign from her post early next year. One of the latest ones took place earlier this month, when Trump mocked Greene by calling her "Marjorie Traitor Brown because green turns to brown under stress."

"I call her Traitor Brown, which I don't like doing. Two words is two much, two out of three, we're changing two. I like Marjorie Taylor Brown better. What the hell happened to her? She's a stone cold liberal, she's on CNN all the time. What the hell happened to Marjorie Traitor Greene?" Trump added.

Greene responded in a social media publication of her own, saying Trump is "having some confusion because my voting record and donation history is actually more conservative and America First than he is."

"And I voted with him 98% of the time but wouldn't take my name of the Epstein discharge petition. But maybe his memory is not so good, I didn't call him much but I should have called him more," Greene said.

She went on to say she "would have told him he promised no more foreign wars and reminded him the foreign leader that wants him to bomb so much, Netanyahu, was the first foreign leader to congratulate Joe Biden after the 2020 election." "Anyways, I'll keep praying for him to be successful for America's sake," she concluded.
