Not too long ago, speculations were rife that Meghan Markle is due with Prince Harry and her second child this summer. But, since there wasn’t an exact date to it, a lot of curiosity was built around it. Fast forward to now—and royal experts believe the Duchess of Sussex could be going into labour “any day” now.

As cited in Marie Claire and Daily Star, Daily Beast’s Royalist newsletter reported that Meghan’s delivery date could actually be sooner than expected. 'The Royalist was always taught summer started in June, but there have also been rumours the baby was due sooner than that, so we think the answer is 'any day now'," stated the newsletter.

Rumors are rife that the royal couple has been contemplating over naming their unborn child Diana—as a tribute to Harry’s late mother. But, a recent report on Page Six suggested otherwise. “They are highly unlikely to call their daughter Diana. Their biggest concern is that it would make her a bigger target for the media and considerably increase public interest in the child’s life,” opined the source in the report.

The insider added, “Whatever anybody thinks, Harry and Meghan do value their privacy and want to shield their children from the intense media pressure they have endured.”

Insiders believe Harry and Meghan don’t want their kids to be bogged by the intense media scrutiny that comes with their royal lineage, and a name akin to the Princess of Wales might add undue pressure on the child.

“They might consider Diana as a middle name, but Princess Charlotte already has Diana as a middle name, and Harry and Meghan have not enjoyed the feeling they have been compared to (and pitted against) William and Kate in the media and by the palace,” the source maintained.

Harry and Meghan have been lying low and enjoying quality time together in their Montecito pad with little Archie. The former "Suits" star was recently in the spot for allegedly pressing for another baby shower to usher in the arrival of their daughter. Given the pandemic and the global scenario, Harry was reportedly not game for the idea but eventually agreed to let Meghan having a secret baby shower.
