Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be in danger of receiving the same letter that Princess Diana and Prince Charles received from Queen Elizabeth II decades ago. Her Majesty intervened in the Prince and Princess of Wales marriage and encouraged them to divorce following one incident.

In 1995, the late royal sat down for an interview with Martin Bashir for Panorama. During their conversation, the mom of two told Bashir that there were three of them in her marriage. Princess Diana also questioned Prince Charles’ ability to become King.

The heir to the throne didn’t watch the interview, but Camilla Parker Bowles did -- and so did the 93-year-old monarch. The Queen was, reportedly, furious over what her daughter-in-law said that she felt the need to write a letter to her. Her Majesty meddled in Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage by asking them to finalize their divorce.

On the “Royals” podcast, royal commentator Angela Mollard also revealed that after Princess Diana received the Queen’s letter, she no longer talked about Prince Charles and their marriage during her interviews. After all, she was asked to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Last month, Prince Harry and Markle Markle were interviewed by ITV’s Tom Bradby for the documentary “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.” During their conversation, Prince Harry shared details about his relationship with Prince William.

The Duke of Sussex also said that he feels bad for his wife because she’s struggling just like his late mother. Prince Harry also confirmed that he has not moved on completely from Princess Diana’s death.

Meghan Markle, on the other hand, said that having a stiff upper lip at all times can be dangerous. The Duchess of Sussex also seemingly threw shade at the Queen’s “never explain, never complain” mantra.

One royal fan told Express that it could only be a matter of time before Meghan Markle receives a letter from the monarch because she also threw shade at the royal family and the British monarchy. But, her difference with Princess Diana is she didn’t criticize her husband.

Other royal fans said that Meghan Markle actually presented Prince Harry in a bad light during the interview. After all, she revealed that not a lot of people have asked if she’s OK, and this responsibility should’ve been on her husband.
