Jonathan Dimbleby, Prince Charles' longtime biographer, claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are unlikely to sustain their popularity. The royal expert expressed his thoughts on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relationship, calling it "sad" because he knew Prince Harry at the time.

Meghan Markle is a strong lady who has achieved success on her own. The former Suits actress is well-known for her ability to get things done. Her taking the lead in her marriage to Prince Harry, on the other hand, might not be beneficial to them.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, according to Dimbleby, will not be able to maintain their celebrity status.

"I suspect that Harry is led by the nose by Meghan Markle," Dimbleby said per Daily Mail. "He’s entering a sort of vortex in which they will become less and less significant as a couple. As she gets older, as he gets older, they will matter less because the celebrity on which they trade will become less valuable."

He went on to say: "And it’s a very great shame because when I met him he was absolutely charming – a lovely, lovely young guy. Not the brightest in the world but filled with generosity of spirit."

Markle has the upper hand in her relationship with Prince Harry, and Dimbleby isn't the only one who has seen this. Prior to their 2018 royal wedding, an unnamed insider told PEOPLE Magazine that the actress is the one who wears trousers in their relationship.

The source added that one of the things Prince Harry admires about Meghan Markle is that she is a strong, opinionated lady with her own thoughts about things.

When they were still in the United Kingdom, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were among the most popular royals. However, their popularity ratings plummeted when they decided to take a step back.

According to Deadline, Netflix has decided to discontinue the Duchess of Sussex's cartoon series Pearl as part of its cost-cutting efforts to increase income. Several internet users applauded Netflix's choice. Some even rejoiced, stating that if the platform opted to continue with Markle's project, they would unsubscribe, implying that the couple is acquiring more critics.

"Am less likely to cancel my Netflix subscription now @netflix has canceled that incredibly dreary-sounding Meghan Markle thing, tbh," one tweeted.

Many criticized Netflix for bringing the Sussexes onboard a multi-million dollar, multi-year contract. Netflix recently reported losing members for the first time in more than ten years, and some internet users blamed it on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who quit Netflix after the Sussexes worked with it.

"I'm one of this... Go guys, #Unsubscribe to @netflix if also feel the BS harry and Meghan did to their families. Netflix, they didn't even produce a single thing yet, can you see the effect? Karma," one tweeted while sharing the report from BBC.
