Baby Archie will reportedly grow up quite confused because of who his parents are. The firstborn of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will likely grow up traveling and enjoying aplenty, but a new report claimed that he will also have a rough time when it comes to one thing.

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, the son of Prince Harry and the former “Suits” star Meghan Markle, is not even five-months-old yet, but will already be undertaking a major trip already. He is going to visit his father’s “second home” this autumn — South Africa.

His is designed to be a really exciting life full of trips here and there, but some commentators believe that he will grow up grappling with the discrepancies between British and American English.

According to Express UK, it will not be long now before baby Archie will start uttering his first words, and combine consonants and vowels, acquiring some accents. Over the next few months, he will also start absorbing what his parents and nannies are going to be saying, forming his speech foundation.

With an American mother and a British father, will he grow up confused? Will he wonder which accent is “correct”? Will he find it hard deciphering meaning of some words? Some think so.

These worries seem premature though and probably not that too big of a deal since there are many kids with one American parent and another British one, who eventually learned to decipher meanings of words. What is more pressing is that while baby Archie will always have a strong connection to the family members of his father’s side, he will reportedly never see his grandpa from his mother’s side.

According to the Sun, Markle already cut off all ties with Thomas, her dad. Markle did not do it out of pettiness, but out of necessity. “It’s a terribly sad situation but Meghan has made the very difficult decision that she doesn’t have an active relationship with her father anymore,” the insider reported.

“This was actually a decision she made some time ago and it is something she’s now coming to terms with. It’s obviously heartbreaking for her but she has to protect herself, her husband and her son. Thomas hasn’t met Harry and it’s unlikely he’ll meet Archie either,” the insider added.

Before this report came out though, Thomas himself speak with Daily Mail and went public about his grievances over his daughter. “I'm disappointed not to see Archie. I had hoped becoming a mother would mellow Meghan and she would reach out,” he complained.
