The confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) made public the official final roster submitted by the 12 participants Member Association for the area Gold Cup 2015, to be played from July 7-26 in 13 cities across the U.S. and Canada. Per regulation, following the group stage and before the quarterfinals each national team will be permitted to make up to six replacements to its 23-player list. Teams may also make changes to the complete roster up to 24 hours before the kickoff of their initial match.

United States is the defending champion of the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2015. Along with the 2013 title, Americans secured half of the tickets to the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup. Also they could clinch a dock in that intercontinental competition by defending their title in 2015. However, if the winner in this Gold Cup is any team other than the USA, that team will qualify for a playoff match against U.S. to decide with one will represent the region in the next Confederations Cup.

On the other hand, Mexico is the maximum winner with six titles followed by U.S. with 5, the Tri took part in Copa America 2015 and at CONCACAF Gold Cup 2015 as well, the coach Miguel Herrera created a distinct roster for each competition. Though the side that traveled to Chile was widely a fiasco and considered to be a “B” team. The twelve national teams qualified for this year’s tournament are: Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad & Tobago and the United States.

Gold Cup takes place every two years and has established itself as the region’s most popular national team tournament. However, El tri presentation at Copa America was a fiasco winless in three outing. With Gold Cup quickly approaching, there was a little time to lament the disaster Mexico did.

For Mexico all starts on July 9 against Cuba at Soldier Field in Chicago. Here is the roster: GK- Moises Munoz, Guillermo Ochoa y Jonathan Orozco. DF- Paul Aguilar, Yasser Corona, Miguel Herrera, Miguel Layun, Héctor Moreno, Diego Reyes, Francisco Javier Rodriguez. MF- Jonathan Dos Santos, Jesús Dueñas, Andres Guardado, Héctor Herrera, Antonio Ríos, Jorge Torres Nilo y José Juan Vázquez, and FW- Jesús Corona, Giovani Dos Santos, Carlos Esquivel, Javier Hernández, Oribe Peralta and Carlos Vela.
