The Mini brand manages to continue to build its success upon a foundation as a lifestyle brand. Ever pushing the boundaries of British chic, Mini is expected to publicly unveil its latest 2013 Countryman Coupe (Paceman) before year end.

After months of spy photo hype, a production ready image has finally leaked on the internet. Unlike many automakers that are concerned of premature hype before release, the Mini Paceman prototypes conducting shakedown tests were wearing markedly little camouflage. Given Mini's lack of concern, industry analysts believe that the official launch of the Paceman will occur much sooner than expected.

Mini has declined to provide an official statement on the name and specifications on the vechile but the new Mini will likely offer many of same options as its sister Countrymen. As with the current range of Countrymen, the Paceman is expected to come available in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive guise. Engines will start with a standard 4 cylinder producing 121-hp. Next a Paceman S is expected to receive a 181-hp output and finally, the JCW model is should receive 211-hp and 192 lb.-ft. of torque.

No official release date has been announced but Mini has confirmed that its upcoming two-door crossover will be arriving in showrooms by the first quarter of 2013.
