Miss Universe 2013 is Miss Venezuela, Gabriela Isler. First runner up is Patricia Yurena Rodriguez (Spain). Second runner up is Constanza Baez (Ecuador). Third runner up is Ariella Arida (Philippines). Fourth runner up is Jakelyne Oliveira (Brazil). Miss Venezuela won the competition and will take the crown home to her country in South America. During the question and answer portion of the segment the Latin beauty was asked, "What is your biggest fear and how do you plan to overcome it?" She replied by saying, "We should overcome all our fears and this in turn would make us stronger. As soon as we overcome our fears, we can face any challenge."

Miss Universe 2013 pageant is underway in Moscow and a new beauty queen will be crowned tonight. The Top 5 beauties have been revealed and they include, Patricia Yurena Rodriguez (Spain), Ariella Arida (Philippines), Jakelyne Oliveira (Brazil), Constanza Baez (Ecuador) and Gabriela Isler (Venezuela). In the Top 5, four out of the 5 beauty queens are Hispanic making our odds that much greater. Dropped from the Top 10 was, Great Britain, India, USA, Ukraine and Dominican Republic. We had 5 hispanic beauties in the Top 10. Noticeably missing is Mexico's Cynthia Duque who received negative flack after a swimsuit photo was released where people claimed she was on the heavier side. Rounding up the Top 10 is front-runner Ariella Arida from Philippines who is a favorite to win the competition.

During the Q&A portion of the competition, Miss Ecuador was asked, "What would happen to the world if we could no longer use the internet?" Constanza Baez replied, "Technology has advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantage is that we are no longer as close together with our families. We must use the methodology of computers and internet for the positive. In a positive. It's never too late to start. Let's start right now." Miss Brazil was up next and was asked, "What is your opinion about places that do not allow women to vote, or drive cars?" Jakelyne Oliveira replied, "We as women have achieved our independence through time. Unfortunately we still have problems with our independence. But we need to keep our open minds because now we are capable of everything." Miss Spain was asked, "What is the most significant thing we can do to help elect women to political offices around the world?," to which she replied, "In order to select a good woman, she must posses good qualities in order to perform a good job." Miss Philippines was up next and her question was, "What can be done about the lack of jobs for young people starting their career around the world?" She responded saying, "I do believe we should invest in education and that is my primary advocacy. Education is a primary source and a ticket for better future." Miss Venezuela was asked, "What is your biggest fear and how do you plan to overcome it?" Isler replied, "We should overcome all our fears and this in turn would make us stronger. As soon as we overcome our fears, we can face any challenge."

Miss Universe live from Moscow named their Top 16 which included, Costa Rica, Ukraine, China, Ecuador, Great Britain, Indonesia, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Spain, USA, Nicaragua, Switzerland, India, Brasil and Philippines. Judges for the grand finale are Aerosmith lead singer, Steven Tyler, model Anne Vyalitsyna and Russian popstar Filipp Kirkorov.

Miss Universe 2013 beauty pageant gala will be broadcasted live starting at 9pm EST on NBC and on Telemundo in Spanish. The crowning moment will also be seen around the world when it streams directly on the official YouTube account and Latin Times will have the minute by minute details as everything unfolds in Moscow. Hosting the event will be Thomas Roberts from "SNBC Live" with former Spice Girls group member Melanie Brown. Musical guests include Panic! At The Disco and EMIN.
